Intense Pulse Light
Also known as "IPL"
Intense pulsed light (IPL) or flash lamp therapy is a non-invasive and non-ablative treatment that uses high-intensity pulses of visible light to improve the appearance of the following skin problems:
-
Vascular lesions including spider telangiectasis, port wine stains, broken facial veins, rosy cheeks, rosacea and red thread veins of the legs
-
Freckles and age marks
-
Removal of unwanted dark hair
The procedure of rejuvenating aged skin is referred to as photo rejuvenation and requires a series of IPL treatments.
IPL may also be helpful for mild to moderate acne and stretch marks.
About IPL:
IPL systems work on the same principles as lasers in that light energy is absorbed into particular target cells with colour (chromophores) in the skin. The light energy is converted to heat energy, which causes damage to the specific target area. IPL therapy is considered a non-ablative resurfacing technique, which means that it targets the lower layers of skin (dermis) without affecting the top layers of skin (epidermis).

About Pico:
Pico Laser Technology is FDA Approved and allows for the quick, effective, highly selective treatment of pigmented lesions and tattoos (in treatable colors). This laser also enhances elastin production in the skin, resulting in a softer, fuller, more youthful complexion.
The Pico laser works by sending ultra-short pulses of energy – without heat – to targeted problem areas. The laser’s impact on the skin is intense, shattering the problem skin pigment or particles. These are then eliminated naturally by the body.
Q-Switched Nd:Yag Laser
This Q-switched laser offers rapid pulses that can effectively shatter ink in tattoos or melanin in some types of skin pigmentation. The laser targets the ink or melanin without harming surrounding skin and tissue, reducing discomfort, side effects, and downtime.
Benefits:
This versatile, rapid pulse laser can be used to address a wide range of concerns, including:

About Laser Hair Removal:
Laser hair removal is FDA- Approved. This laser treatment uses energy that first sees the color (melanin) in the hair follicle and travels through it to reach the bulb and bulge. The bulb and bulge is what the laser energy is targeting to destroy the cell that creates hair growth. Once the energy finally rids of the cell, the hair growth will dissipate.
